STAR Project provides courses and consultancy to support teaching and learning and curriculum enrichment through the arts.

Latest courses

We have a wide range of courses for all teaching staff at a cost of £100.00 per delegate.

All courses take place at The Art Base, Tameside Primary School, Price Road, Wednesbury, WS10 0EZ between 9.30am and 3.30pm, lunch is provided.

Consultancy

We offer support for teaching and learning in the following areas:

Arts (Dance, Drama, Music and Visual Art)

Developing the Thematic Curriculum

Finding Funding and Writing Bids

Running Arts Projects

Writing Artsmark Applications

Developing the Environment

We can support you by running courses in your school or area, working alongside teachers in their classrooms or offering consultancy for planning, running projects, etc.

Costs:  1 day £350      1/2 day £175

NEW FROM November 2008 Workshops for Gifted & Talented Pupils in Key Stages 1 & 2. Working in partnership with BCSIP and GTX West Midlands. We are running workshops for individual or clusters of schools in the following:
